    Dr. Michael Kaner graduated from Tufts University School of Dentistry in 1985. After graduating, he completed a one year General Practice Residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, PA. Prior to studying Tufts Dental School, he attended the University of Rochester. Dr. Kaner been practicing in the Feasterville-Trevose area for over 35 years.

    Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Kaner kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. In 1993, he was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, signifying over 500 hours of continuing education in various phases of dentistry and in 2019 was awarded Mastership in the Academy (MAGD) for completing over 1100 hours of continuing education, 400 hours of which was hands on in 16 different dental disciplines. To date, he has nearly 4000 hours of Continuing Dental Education and takes more courses regularly. In 2023, he earned the LLSR, Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition Award from the Academy for service to dentistry.  He has authored several articles on Forensic Dentistry and Bitemarks, Oral Cancer, Emergency Preparedness,Risk Management and Going Green in Dentistry. He is a past member of the Pennsylvania Dental Association's Environmental Impact Committee helping to set standards and policies that will protect our environment. Dr. Kaner has served as President of the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry. He is currently a national trustee for the Academy of General Dentistry and serves as Vice President for the Academy of General Dentistry Foundation, a charity to promote oral cancer awareness and prevention.

    Dr. Kaner is a trained forensic dentist and is part of PADIT, the Pennsylvania State Dental Identification Team and DMORT, the federal disaster response team. He was part of the team that helped identify those killed on 9/11 in both Somerset County,PA where Flight 93 crashed and at the Medical Examiner's Office in New York City. In addition, he spent two weeks in Mississippi after Katrina helping identify the victims of the hurricane. He was also deployed to NYC to aid their response in the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak.

    Dr. Kaner is on the teaching staff of  St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem  and helps train the dental residents in the program.

    He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Forensic Sciences.

    He lives in Bucks County with his wife, Barbara.
